Plexiglas cover plate for license plate light inside | VW Beetle 10/52-07/57 | 111 943 139

Fits the VW Beetle. This plexiglas lens is used (together with rubber 0748-115) to seal the inside of the license plate light on the W engine cover. Originally used only for M code M22 (US lighting specifications) on chassis numbers 1-0397023 to 1,600,439, and was probably intended to keep dirt out of the license plate light. Fits any W-lid with the long threaded ends on the housing.
