Spring for the engine lid lock of the VW Beetle 05/1955–07/1964 and Karmann Ghia, with OEM number 111 837 331A. The spring keeps the lock mechanism under tension so the engine lid stays closed while driving. Replacement is needed when the lid no longer closes properly or feels loose.
