Outer rear wheel bearing for the VW T2 Bus and T3 Bus 08/1971–07/92, OEM number 211 501 283B / D. The bearing sits on the outside of the rear hub and, together with the inner bearing, carries the weight on the rear axle. Replacement is required in case of play, noise or heat build-up at the hub.
