Left front backing plate for the VW T1 Bus 03/1955–08/1963, OEM number 211 609 139A. The plate is mounted behind the brake drum on the steering knuckle and carries the wheel cylinder and brake shoes. Replacement is required in case of corrosion of the mounting surface or damaged mounting holes.
