This rubber seal sits between the heater box and the flexible heater hose that runs to the body - preventing you from losing hot air where you don't want it. After decades - these rubbers can become hard and porous - leading to leaks and reduced heating capacity. We have them in stock for T1 - T2a - T2b - Type 3 - Karmann Ghia and Type 181 (OEM 111 819 945). Combine this with a new heater hose while you're at it.
