Catch tray behind the left rear air intake grille for the VW Karmann Ghia 08/1959–1974. The tray is spot welded behind the grille in the side panel and collects water entering through the grille so that it is drained in a controlled way. Replacement is common when the tray has rusted through or during panel restoration of the rear side section.
