Bulb holder for the tail light of the VW Beetle 08/1955–07/1961, with OEM number 111 945 261C. The holder clicks into the tail light housing and contains the socket for the bulb plus the contact springs to the wiring. Replacement is needed in case of cracked plastic, corrosion on the contacts or a poor ground connection.
