Rubber seal under the fuel tank for the VW Beetle up to 07/1960 and Karmann Ghia, with OEM number 111 201 621B. The seal sits between the tank bottom and the bodywork in the front luggage compartment and prevents direct contact with metal. Replacement is common when removing the tank, as the rubber hardens and cracks over time.
