Gear for the sunroof mechanism of the VW Beetle from 08/1963, the VW T2 Bus and T3 Bus 08/1967-07/1992 and the Type 3, with OEM number 313 877 407. The gear drives the sunroof cable via the operating lever in the roof panel. Wear of the teeth leads to slipping, so that the roof no longer opens or closes. This part is also widely used on the VW T2 Westfalia camper.
