This accelerator pedal shaft (211 721 629) provides a solid connection between your accelerator pedal and the carburetor. In older models - the shaft can wear out or become damaged - leading to play and uneven throttle response. It's an inexpensive replacement that you can quickly install and immediately feel the difference. Combine this with a new accelerator pedal return spring while you're at it.
